Unplanned event proves very fruitful indeed...

An unexpected and unplanned event at the English Riviera Centre in my home town Torquay today. This was supposed to be my wife's craft stall but she had to pull out of the event at the last minute... so I stepped in to the brink and laid out my books for all to see. What a response with over 30 books sold on the day and numerous local school events booked ... Brilliant!!!
I even put a poster up at the entrance to the Craft Fair to let all the visitors know I was in there signing copies of my Bradley Baker adventure books... cheeky me!!!
This is Harry... he bought the original Bradley Baker adventure from Waterstones in Torqauy back in November 2009... now he is the proud owner of the two new books in the series... Harry's mum also treated him to a Bradley Baker promotional mug in a presentation box.
Brothers Henry and Lewis are now fans of the Bradley Baker adventure books and are pictured here with David Lawrence Jones at the English Riviera Centre in Torquay
Leo has been bought the Bradley Baker and the Curse of Pathylon book by his parents and he is thrilled to be having his picture taken with me during the event...

I met a lovely lady called Mary (pictured here with her daughter and granddaughter) who purchased all three Bradley Baker titles for her son, a Doctor who resides in North Devon. It turns out Mary is a medium and she has seen my books as a feature film (spine tinglingly superb if it happens) so watch this space!

Here is Emilie with her grandmother at the table top event in the English Riviera Centre in Torquay. Fellow stall holders and happy to support me with a purchase of both books in the Bradley Baker series.

Its great when the unexpected produces a great result and one thing I learned from today's proceedings is that Bradley Baker certainly has a place (and a following) within my local community.
